Time for some more organic and environmentally friendly beauty products!
A few weeks ago I received some products which I’ve been using for a little while now.
As I always I wanted to try them first before writing about it.
Let’s talk about my new favorite showel gel, shampoo & hairspray.
The STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME showel gel.
I’m using this shower gel (All Natural Orange Wild Herbs Shower Gel ) since I got it and I’m hooked. The smell is so warm and nice, it relaxes completely. The ingredients (a.o. organge blossom, melissa etc.) make me very happy as well and all ingredients are from certified organic agriculture. It’s vegan and next to that it’s gentle for my skin plus you don’t need a lot of it. I’ve been using this shower gel for several weeks now and still got plenty left as you can see on the pictures. The brand name encourages people to use water intelligently and sustainably. See more here.
Also I just love the simple and clean packaging.
Secondly, as for hair care I recently discovered the brand OGX and I use their The Strenght & Body + Bamboo Fiber Full shampoo & conditioner
My hair is kind of thin and long, no volume or whatsoever. For many years I’ve been using regular volume shampoos, and before blowdrying my hair I always had to put some mousse in it for a thickening effect. I got used to this ritual and actually didn’t think it would change by using some other shampoo.
I know this will sound very advertorial, but this shampoo really did change it! I use the shampoo and the conditioner (I never used conditioners before as they tend to make your hair heavier instead of light & volumnious). I really don’t need the volumizing mousse anymore! I was a bit suprised, as I can be sceptical with hairproducts (I experimented a lot over the years), but I think I found the perfect shampoo for my hair 😀 Although I think the results may differ depending on your hairtype of course.
And not to forget: other great facts about this brand: it’s paraben & SLS free and not tested on animals. Oh and the packaging is made from recycled materials. It’s definitely a keeper.
And last but not least: the Hairwonder Hairspray.
Since I started being more aware what’s in our products I begun cleaning out my assortment at home. As I use hairspray on a daily basis I thought it would be good to change my regular one for a less chemical one. While searching online I came across this brand, of which I haven’t heard before, but after using it for more than a month now I can say that it really does what is says. It’s flexible and strong and I no longer feel intoxinated while using it 🙂
Are you using organic & environmentaly friendly beauty products as well?
Would love to hear about it in the comments below!
