So many shows, so much diversity. From timeless classics to modern 70s, from faux to real and from monochrome to a true color splash on the runway. NYFW had it all. Truly inspiring and interesting to also see the use of various fabrics, patterns and styles. It was amazing 😀
Today the last part of the shows I’ve seen during NYFW. Day 6 & 7.
Hello 60s and 70s! Loved this show. The gold, the wigs, the ambiance. All models were wearing the same big curly wig which gave a cool effect on the whole show. Colors like dark red, orange, green and oil blue. Shining, mesh and shimmering fabrics. Georgine showed a glamourous 60/70s style for next winter. By the way Georgine Ratelband is a Dutch designer, how cool she has her brand in NY 😀
From head to toe in pure femininity. A-lined dresses/skirts, ankle strap heels, feathers, florals and soft colors. The models were walking full of grace in these timeless looks. I can totally imagine Michelle Obama or our Queen Maxima wearing this brand. My favorite piece is definitely the feather dress. Love!
The last show I’ve seen before leaving to The Netherlands the next day. And it was the most spectacular show as well. Totaly opposite to what I’ve been seeing all week. Refreshing and edgy. It was a mix of lady Gaga style, art and clubbing glamour.
Oh and usually I do not make pictures of the audience, but I was trying to picture the cat mask (on the last picture), and after watching the picture I found out that the jury (Miss J. & Jay Manuel) of America’s next topmodel was sitting in from of him 😉
