New ‘Fashion Blogger Stories’ is out, this time about the subject: Blogger Events
Fashion blogger events are the perfect way to meet like-minded fashion bloggers and great to network as they also attract non fashion bloggers, but people that are looking for a collaboration for example.
I met some great fellow bloggers (like Negin Mirsalehi, Linda Tol , Yara Michels and Andy Torres) as well as people from the industry (magazines, marketing, pr, stylists etc.) and potential brands/shops to work with. Just these few events led me to several opportunities which already proved their value.
I can’t visit all events due to time issues, but it is really worth it to visit some once in a while.

Tips & tricks:
Scared to go all alone? Don’t be, you’re not the only one! And you will meet new people very quickly as we are all there with the same passion. You will always have something to talk about.
Go prepared. Write down some questions you would like to ask fellow (known) bloggers or find out more about the person that is giving the presentation.
You don’t have to go peacocking, but dress wisely 😉 Stay with your style. This way people will recognize similarity between you and your blog once they look at it.
Be on time to get the best seat. This way you won’t miss anything of the presentation and you will be able to ask your questions easily, without shouting.
Share it on social media. Are you at an event? Let your followers know! Use the hashtags and spread the word. If you’re lucky some event organizers will notice it (for example) retweet it in their (big) network. It is multi way publicity, for them & you and more 😀
Have you ever visited some blogger events?
